During this time Carol supported a 10bnEUR turnover as a Regional Chief Finance Officer, leading over 80 finance professionals supporting the Southern Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Latin America region. Carol was responsible for financial management of the entire value chain including sales, manufacturing, construction and after sales service, including the penetration and entry of new markets. Carol holds a degree in Business (Accounting) from Victoria University in Australia, and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

Philipp Prince

Philipp has 18 years’ experience as a chartered accountant, having qualified with Stoy Hayward (now BDO LLP) in 1995. In 1997, Philipp moved into Corporate Finance, where he spent 16 years, becoming a partner in 2002; this included two years building BDO’s Government & Infrastructure team. During his time at BDO LLP, Philipp led over 50 capital market transactions, which raised, in aggregate, approximately £4 billion and the due diligence process on numerous M&A transactions. Philipp has an MA in Natural Sciences from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Stephen Williams

Stephen Williams is Sonnedix’s Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Vice President of the company. He joined Sonnedix in 2013 with over 20 years of experience growing innovative technology businesses in the UK and around the world. At Sonnedix, he has played a key role in developing the global finance team, as well as leading the London office through a period of massive growth and change. Prior to joining Sonnedix, he was a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Symbian—a joint venture set up by Psion, Nokia, Motorola and Ericsson—to develop a software platform for mobile phones. Joining at its inception in 1998 as EVP Finance and Operations, and later serving as CIO, Stephen helped grow the company to over 1,500 employees worldwide with a turnover exceeding £300M. In 2007, he joined former colleagues from Symbian to help establish AQA63336, a pioneering and highly successful text messaging Q&A service, which they grew from its infancy to six years of continuous profits before selling the business to a third party.
