Since founding InterSystems in 1978, Ragon has led the company to worldwide prominence in the database, interoperability, and healthcare application markets. Prior to starting InterSystems, Ragon co-founded a healthcare software company that became a leader in the U.S. and is now part of GE Healthcare. He has served as a healthcare IT consultant to academic and government institutions and received a prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in healthcare information technology. Ragon is a Trustee of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where he also served as Honorary Co-Chair of the MGH Campaign. He is on the Harvard Medical School Board of Fellows. He is also a member of the MIT Corporation, the governing body of MIT, and chairs the Visiting Committee that reviews the Physics Department. In 2008, Ragon helped created the Ragon Institute, a joint research center of MGH, MIT, and Harvard. Boyd Mulvey

Boyd started his career in 1990 as a data analyst for Credit Suisse Financial Products (CSFP), an investment bank which created and traded derivative financial instruments based in London. At CSFP Boyd created a database for analysing capital at risk for the bank called FRED (Financial Risk Exposure Database) which is still in use today. Boyd moved from analyst to strategy at UBS and then into investment banking where he helped to raise money for and float several technology companies on the UK Stock Exchange before launching a Venture Capitalist Fund called the CREATE East of England Fund, which specialised in investing into early stage tech companies around the Cambridge area. Following the completion of that Fund, Boyd founded Chorus Intelligence to focus on data analytics once again.

Formerly, Richard was the joint founder and CEO of Cleartrade Exchange (CLTX), incorporated in Singapore, an electronic execution exchange for cash-settled, cleared derivatives and futures contracts. CLTX is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Recognized Market Operator (RMO) and as a Foreign Board of Trade (FBOT) in the USA by the CFTC. CLTX provides a specialized order matching engine giving access to an anonymous central limit order book and block traded futures across multiple asset classes and contracts. CLTX was subject to a 100% majority acquisition by the European Energy Exchange, a Deutsche Bourse company in late 2016. Richard has held several senior executive positions in technology, media and telecommunications. He has served as a non-executive board member in the internet technology solution sector and has directed and co-founded a digital media consulting services firm. Richard has a passion for people, innovation, driving high standards and achieving high results. Julian Chesterfield, founder and CEO of Sunlight, has worked in the cloud and virtualisation industry for over 15 years. After completing his PhD at Cambridge University, he became involved in writing a technology called Xen, which became the foundation of the public cloud back in 2007 when it was adopted by Amazon and most of the emerging public cloud infrastructure providers of the day.
Julian began Sunlight as an incubation project in 2013 to build a lightweight hypervisor for low-power Arm processors.
