Peter Greenhalgh

Since then, he has held a range of engineering and lead architect positions in the company. He was the lead architect of the Arm Cortex-A7 and Cortex-A53 processors, and led the development and deployment of Arm big.LITTLE technology. Prior to this, he owned key units in the microarchitectures of the Cortex-R4, Cortex-A5 and Cortex-A8 processors. Between 2013 and 2017, Peter was the senior director of technology in Arm’s Compute Products Group (CPG), responsible for all microarchitecture and technology developments across Arm’s CPU. Peter holds 20 patents in the field of CPU microarchitecture and has a degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Heriot-Watt University.

Jem Davies
VP and Fellow and GM & Machine Learning Group of Arm Holdings
Jem is an Arm fellow and general manager of Arm’s Machine Learning business, focusing on machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. He was previously GM and vice president of technology for the Media Processing, and Imaging and Vision, Groups, where he set the future technology roadmaps and undertook technological investigations for several acquisitions. Based in Cambridge, Jem was previously a member of Arm’s Architecture Review Board and holds four patents in the fields of CPU and GPU design.

Chet Babla is VP in the Emerging Businesses Group at Arm, where he leads a team focused on enabling device security and also exploring future growth opportunities. Prior to Arm, he was at MediaTek, where he led the EMEA business development, sales and customer support teams. Chet has worked in the semiconductor industry for over 25 years, covering a variety of wireless and wireline technologies in technical and commercial roles. Chet has worked at multinationals and several UK fabless start-ups. Chet was also an ICT sector specialist advisor to the UK government’s trade and industry department.

Tim Whitfield
VP Strategy, Embedded & Automotive of Arm Holdings
Tim Whitfield is vice president strategy for the Business Transformation Group at Arm, where he leads a team looking at business and technology strategy for the Arm IP group. He has worked at Arm for more than 15 years, initially leading hardware engineering teams building IP and silicon implementations. More recently he spent 5 years in Taiwan establishing an engineering design centre and working with local ecosystem partners on advanced process technology. Before working at Arm, Tim worked at Fujitsu Telecommunications and GEC in the UK.
