TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?
I used to manage big and small parties for about 10 years before starting Poptop and used to perform as a DJ. At some point I realised that organizing parties could be done in a much more efficient and inspiring way and founded Poptop with a vision to build a global #1 brand for private parties.

WHAT PROBLEM DOES YOUR BUSINESS SOLVE?
Party planning is still stuck in dark ages. To find a supplier for your event you need to spend days of researching, submitting enormous forms asking for a quote just to figure out if supplier is available, what’s the price and what’s included into the service. Its super inefficient for suppliers, as they have to spend hours every day submitting quotes manually and the complexity involved into the process simply puts off event planners from throwing more parties.
WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND YOUR BUSINESS?
I’ve always been inspired by incredible businesses who work in this niche and provide party services. Every business got their unique story and bring their talent to the party. What we realised is that we can help those businesses unleash their potential by improving their marketing, quality of experiences and allowing them to focus in delivering great parties, growing their business and practicing their craft, not submitting quotes manually again and again and again.
WHAT IS YOUR MAGIC SAUCE?
We are the first in the world among events marketplaces to provide Instant Booking technology for party services + we are the first to curate supplier’s services into clearly defined, easily understood and inspiring service listings.
WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE?
Serve 150,000 parties per year and scale to the US, France, Italy, Germany and other markets. We see a great opportunity for our product internationally.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YOU’VE FACED SO FAR?
We’ve pioneered the way for instant booking for our industry and we had to educate thousands of suppliers how to use it and how to level up their approach towards admin and party management, so they become much more efficient. For example – start using Apple & Google calendars, optimise their pricing, etc.
HOW DO PEOPLE GET INVOLVED/BUY INTO YOUR VISION?
We want to help party planners to throw bigger, better, bolder parties and have unforgettable time with their friends and family and we want more party businesses to join our platform and grow their business with us.
