He first cut his teeth at British Telecom before moving up the gears at small to mid-market IT & Telco firm PSU Technology Group. As Head of Sales for the IT Support division at PSU, Joe secured major national private and public sector contracts for mid-range IBM, Unix and Wintel support contracts and implemented the sales and marketing plan from the IT maintenance division. Geoff Bennett received a B. Sc. in polymer engineering from Loughborough University, United Kingdom, in 1983, and worked as a materials research scientist before moving into the networking area in 1986 with router pioneer, Proteon. He has worked in technical roles in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years at companies such as Wellfleet, FORE Systems, and Marconi, where he held the position of Distinguished Engineer.
