PV Portfolio Manager of Oxford Capital Partners
James is focused on the management of Oxford Capitals solar assets with a particular emphasis on consolidation. He built up considerable experience during two years at Lightsource Renewable Energy working on the development of utility scale ground mount solar PV. James received an MSc in Sustainable Cities from Kings College London and has recently passed level 1 of the CFA program. He is a keen squash player and enjoys playing chess and solving numerical puzzles.

Will Laws

Will oversees Oxford Capital’s marketing activity, including managing our digital presence. He is also responsible for our communications to investors. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he qualified as a chartered accountant before moving into business development, helping the firm to sell large tax and legal consultancy projects. He then joined the research team of Fast Track, an Oxford company which publishes league tables of fast-growth businesses in The Sunday Times. Before joining Oxford Capital in 2012, Will was the commercial manager for a fast-growing technology business, where he helped manage a private equity buyout process. He has a philosophy degree from the University of Durham.

Vanessa is Oxford Capital’s Compliance Manager. Vanessa has over 20 years experience in regulation and compliance gained in a wide variety of roles. Prior to joining Oxford Capital, Vanessa spent 10 years working for a firm of regulatory consultants advising investment managers, intermediaries, and wealth managers on all aspects of compliance in a challenging and constantly changing regulatory environment. Previously she worked for the Securities and Investments Board and a wealth manager. Vanessa has a degree in French from the University of Exeter. In her spare time Vanessa enjoys walking and is a keen classical musician.
