He was formerly CEO and Executive Chairman of mBlox Inc., the world’s largest provider of enterprise-to-consumer text messaging services worldwide, which he founded in 2000 and on whose Board he served until its sale in 2016. Until 1998 he was SVP Marketing for Azlan, Cisco’s largest distributor in Europe. In 1994 he was member of the leadership team founding Italian mobile operator Omnitel Pronto Italia (now Vodafone Italia). Named in 2009 as one of the top 40 telecoms executives worldwide, he is a Fellow of the IET and has a first class degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
