Eddie Anderson
Founding Partner of Pentech Ventures
Eddie is the founding partner of Pentech, leading all Pentech’s fund raising processes. His areas of interest include enterprise infrastructure and transformation, mobile gaming, marketplaces and SaaS based business models. He has led investments in a variety of portfolio companies including, transportation technology company Applied Generics (sold to TomTom), enterprise infrastructure company Enigmatec (sold to iWave), SaaS based financial services company VelSys (sold to Lisasoft), software performance and security company CriticalBlue, aviation enterprise transformation company Flightman, and mobile games company Outplay Entertainment. Prior to founding Pentech, Eddie was the co-founder and CEO of Objective Software Technology, a company providing tools for developers worldwide, taking the company from start-up to successful exit to Wind River Systems where he then led new product development. Eddie has a B.Sc (Hons) in Applied Physics from the University of Strathclyde.

Peter Charlton
Venture Partner of Imperial Innovations
Dr Peter (Pete) Charlton has a long history of working in biotech and pharma, and most recently ran the UK operations for Vertex Pharma. In that role he had line management of the Biology Division – responsible for Protein Biochemistry, Crystallography/Structural Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology and Pharmacology Leadership and development of UK Research Portfolio from target identification through to nomination of clinical candidate. His focus was mainly oncology and neurodegenerative disease (previous areas have included sepsis and Multiple Sclerosis). Prior to Vertex Pete was at Xenova Group plc for 13 years, latterly as the Head of Biology. Prior to that he was a Senior Research Leader at GlaxoSmithKline for 8 years. Pete Charlton has a DPhil in Chemistry and Enzymology from the University of Sussex.

Alex Tancock
Operating Partner, Asia Office of Oxford Capital Partners
Alex is an Operating Partner at Oxford Capital and assists with the firm’s Chinese and Asian activities. Based in Hong Kong, his role is primarily focused on business development activities for both portfolio companies and servicing investors in Oxford Capital’s funds. Alex is an experienced entrepreneur and business operator with extensive experience in the Asian markets and a track record of building value for European companies expanding into the region. Most recently Alex has been the project manager of Asia’s first offshore wind farm development and has advised on over £1bn of renewable energy investments across the Asia-Pacific Region. He graduated from Imperial College with a BSc in Theoretical Physics and holds an ACCA Diploma in Financial Management.

David Mott
Founder Partner of Oxford Capital Partners
David co-founded Oxford Capital and is focused helping investors access private capital markets. David has played a key role in expanding the firm’s activities in venture capital, infrastructure, media and real estate sectors. in 2017, David was appointed as chair of the BVCA’s Venture Capital committee where he is leading initiatives to promote the long term sustainability of the sector and share best practice across the industries participants. During his career as an investment manager, he has led numerous investment and exit transactions, including both IPOs and acquisitions. David has advised the government and the European Commission on investment policy and is an active member of the BVCA’s venture capital committee. He is a member of YPO, the Young Presidents Organization, London chapter. Prior to establishing Oxford Capital, David worked in London, Switzerland and Germany with Result Ventures, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and in Hong Kong with Jardine Fleming. David has a BA in Economics and Japanese from the University of Durham and completed the Private Equity leadership development programme at Harvard Business School. David speaks French, German and Japanese. David is a passionate collector of contemporary art and has represented Great Britain at masters level in Modern Pentathlon.

Michael Penington
Partner of Oxford Technology Management
Michael Penington (Chairman) is a director of a number of technology companies. He spent 16 years as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley in London, where he worked in Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, and was responsible for the bank’s relationships with the European private equity houses. He is also a non-executive director of Future plc. He has a BSc from the University of Melbourne, and a D.Phil from Oxford University.
