Steve has been working in the events industry for the last seven years. He has been working with Smarter Shows since its foundation and prior to that was working for four years at UKIP Media and Events one of the largest events companies in the country. Steve’s core skill set is as a website developer but his role now encompasses all things technical at Smarter Shows. Such as supervising the web development team, data management, email marketing, pre show and onsite event registration, technical strategy and decision making, business process analysis, IT and telephony.

Operations Director of Smarter Shows
With over a decade of publishing, exhibition and media experience in Europe and the US, Emma prefers a hands-on approach to producing expos, using her extensive knowledge to launch, coordinate, and manage the entire Smarter Shows portfolio of international events. Emma’s excellent skill in relationship building with venues, contractors and suppliers, combined with her ability to negotiate the best deals for both Smarter Shows and its exhibitors, ensures the smooth running of every event from start to finish. Martin Godding
Finance Director of Smarter Shows
Martin spent 20 years in professional practice advising clients ranging from SMEs to global quoted groups. Since moving into commerce he has held senior financial, commercial and general management positions, mainly in the technology and service sectors. More recently he has spent time in a variety of interim management roles. His broad depth of experience is crucial to the sustained growth of our company. Martin is a chartered accountant and is a Fellow of the Institute.
