Manoranjan Das is a Business Intelligence professional with 26 years of experience. He has led business intelligence practices for many global leading organisations with P & L responsibility.
He is engaged in delivering multiple and multi-faceted data warehouses, data migration and business intelligence solutions within Government, Utility, Manufacturing, Banking, Insurance and Healthcare sectors.
He possesses extensive knowledge in data management, BI Competency Centre setup, data governance, data migration, and understanding of various products and technology.
He is a chartered member of the British Computer Society, a certified software quality professional and Prince II certified. Academically he holds a postgraduate degree in Planning and a graduate in engineering. It is my passion to make data as driver of decision making in the world of healthcare.
My training and experience in data in the Life science industry, made me think as a sweet spot to start with.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Focus on sales even if you don’t have a product. And, ‘Don’t be a slow burner of your effort and money’ – as a start-up owner.
What problem does your business solve?
There’s a lot of competition for healthcare money and just because a pharma company has developed an innovative drug, doesn’t guarantee anyone will buy the product.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge is retaining the talents we train in our company and customer acquisition. To sustain our company financially we have changed the course in between in tactical way.
