We help companies speak in a way that makes them the trusted voice of authority in their sector. We give them the bravery to honestly answer the questions people are asking and so they grow exponentially.
Tell us about yourself?
After 10 years as a creative in London advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi I moved to the country and bought a small design agency. I thought I knew how to run an agency because I had worked in them. Obviously, I didn’t. Long story short:
The company went bust and it wasn’t until in my second company I got myself a coach who made me read books that I learned what to do. One book changed my business and my life so profoundly that I asked if I could become a coach for the methods it contained and that is what I do today.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Reach out for advice to lots of people, get a coach, Read ‘They Ask You Answer’ sooner !
What problem does your business solve?
Most companies have a problem that is this: We’re not selling enough, so let’s shout more on our website about how good we are. They then sell less. So they then shout some more. A vicious circle. Nobody trusts them. So nobody buys.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
The main problem I solve is that companies don’t know what to say on their websites or in their social channels. They try to pay Google or give huge money off offers to win business. But really if they could just stop and be honest they would win huge amounts of business. Their web traffic would grow beyond their wildest dreams.
What is your magic sauce?
I am the only Certified Coach in the UK for They Ask You Answer. This methodology by Marcus Sheridan for content obsesses over the questions people are actually asking and has now has just under 100 companies who have seen exponential growth via a certified coaching programme ( many thousands who have done it themselves)
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Companies that achieve ‘They Ask You Answer’ mastery become the single trusted, authoritative voice in their sector. We want to create these voices for 100 companies in the UK to match the 10,000 worldwide target that coaches around the world are committed to achieving.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The main challenge was that as a business owner I did not know how to get new business and so my first company went bust. That caused me to think properly and investigate the world for solutions.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
Any business owner or marketing person that isn’t seeing enough leads or sales come in via the website to ask themselves if they know what the big five topics they need to cover on their website are, to ask themselves if they are confident they know what their content should be saying. If they answer ‘no’ to either of these then get in touch we’d love to show them.
