Tell us about yourself?
From my early days, I’ve always started all sorts of businesses, most have failed, in all sorts of sectors, but I’ve always had an interest in media and filmmaking, especially YouTube, in fact back in around 2006 when the website first launched, I and my uncle used to make videos together!
Fast forward to 2017, I start my first official media business (it’s undergone several rebrands since then) and get discovered by Christian Delgrosso, that was my light bulb moment, there was a massive gap in the market and a demand for editors who are as obsessed with YouTube and understood everything under the hood as I was.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Trust your instincts more, even if people try to talk you out of things, you know your business best and should take action without hesitation

Creators want editors who understand their style and are available when they are needed without having them on payroll

What is your magic sauce?
We hire talent who are underappreciated, we see the potential and drive people to have. Our technology then creates the perfect matches between the creator and the editors. The creators also have an experience that just makes sense, from uploading down to magical publishing
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We want to 10x every aspect of the business and have even more vertical pipelines, all built in house, we want to depend on external services as little as possible
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Building things fast enough whilst being a bootstrapped business with no investors is quite a challenge as you have to balance cashflow whilst trying to meet prodcution deadlines
