HIKE is a multi-award winning performance marketing with expertise in one service and one service only… paid advertising. We find that full-service agency tend to barley manage to move the needle and focus more on one thing than another, which is why we are hyper-focused on offering one service and being the best at it.
Tell us about yourself?
My background has always been marketing. I started a publishing business in my teens and basically learnt on the job how to utilise digital marketing for expansion. Durning this time I really gained an understanding of how to market from more of a creative outlook.
After 3 and a half years I went to work for a finance tech company, where I learnt the more analytical and corporate view on marketing, making more of a rounded marketer and adding another string to my bow.
After that I started HIKE and havent looked back. In the past 3 years we have helped over 48 clients around the world obtain nearly £70,000,000 worth of extra revenue.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Persistence is key and to keep your eye on the ball.
What problem does your business solve?
We help businesses trying to get to that next stage. Whether its increase brand awareness, increasing the number of sales or obtaining new leads.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
The inspiration for the business came for loving to see that needle move and making companies revenue they thought they never could before. We get a real kick out of it!!
What is your magic sauce?
Because we are not niche specific it means we can take aspects from campaigns in different industries and bring them into others, usually leading to an increase in ROAS and sales.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Within the next year we are looking to open a US office and in the next 5 I want us to not only be a leading name in the performance marketing industry, but also be know for getting small businesses and startups off the ground.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Our number one challenge we find is kind of out of our hands, which is when clients get to a certain size they look to hire an in-house performance marketer.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
We are always open to work with new and exciting businesses in any industry and any country. Everyone can run ads – you just have to find the right agency… 👋
