Tell us about yourself?

Although I’m Head of Marketing & Digital Content for Gravitywell, my background isn’t in marketing or even tech for that matter. In a former life, I graced the screens as a late-night casino TV presenter (don’t ask), after which I moved into digital advertising.

From there, I was entrusted to shine a light on the amazing things we’re doing at Gravitywell and I’ve been here now for almost 4 years.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

I’m tempted to say something about crypto… but I won’t. Joking aside, I would tell myself that learning a new topic or skill from scratch might seem daunting, but a year or two down the line you’ll be incredibly glad you did.

What problem does your business solve?

At Gravitywell, we work in partnership with tech startup founders to bring their vision to life, guiding them through the entire process from ideation, to prototyping, design, production and launch.

We also provide investment support and industry-leading consultation, to ensure our clients have satisfied users and sustainable revenues.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Gravitywell exists to give tech startup founders the best platform for success by understanding their needs and ambitions and delivering a best-in-class service.

We know that true startup success is more than just a great piece of software, so we take a holistic approach to projects.

Sustainability and ethical practices are also integral to Gravitywell as a business, so this is always a consideration when establishing client partnerships.

What is your magic sauce?

Rather than providing a cut-and-dried “service”, we approach projects with our clients as partners. In fact, because we’re innovators and entrepreneurs ourselves, our clients’ projects become our own passions as well.

Furthermore, unlike other agencies, we never outsource — our multidisciplinary team are all based in Bristol and the surrounding area.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We want to grow but retain our special close-knit feel by creating new autonomous teams or ‘hubs’. We’ll keep working on larger and more complex projects, helping even more entrepreneurs to achieve their grand visions.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

The expectations of end users continue to skyrocket. We constantly have to find new ways to deliver high-quality features that are mindful of startup and scaleup budgets. It’s all about staying on the cutting edge of technology and taking advantage of innovation.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
