Tell us about yourself?
With a collective 60 years involvement in corporate services across our Directors, we are highly experienced in the UK and International corporate services sector.
Our international services developed as a need for doing international business increased as well as recognising the strategic benefits of utilising international trusts and corporate structures to create privacy and wealth protection for our international clientelle.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Covid was obviously a very difficult time for many people, but this also presents many opportunities particularly in the startup arena. In my opinion people take the jump to start a business either at the very beginning of their career when they have no responsibilities or financial ties, when they are made redundant or when they retire from their normal employment.
Covid presented the opportunity to thousands of people who would have ordinarily remained employed to give it a go and start their own business and I think seizing these kinds of opportunities would be my advice both to myself and everyone else.
What problem does your business solve?
Achieving privacy and protecting wealth from potential attack and uassisting clients in the establishment of international elements of their business structures.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Our clients are generally high net worth individuals or businesses with an interest in expanding into foreign markets. For individuals we generally assist with the creation of corporate and trust structures to hold their wealth/assets and protect them from attack or unfortunate uncontrollable circumstances.
For businesses our role is generally to either provide protection to business assets or assist in the creation of overseas arms of their business to allow for expansion or trading in countries other where they originate from.
What is your magic sauce?
Quite simply, we spend time talking to and understanding our clients and offering bespoke services to them. We remain on hand post incorporation to ensure that if they have any difficulties or their circumstances change, we are well placed to continue to assist them.
Our competitors often want to simply create a company structure and have no further involvement thereafter.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
In the next 5 years we hope to continue to grow the business and expand our range of country locations that we can assist clients to incorporate in and to remain on top of legislative changes that may impact our existing client structures.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The industry we are involved in is ever changing and is subject to many changes in line with anti money laundering and compliance.
It is a very positive situation as having such stringent regulatory obligations means that competitors not willing to adhere to these strict rules rarely gain traction in the industry and having a strong regulatory framework enables legitimate business to improve the image of an often misunderstood industry.
