Tell us about yourself?
After working in management consultancy, I realised that there were founders and entrepreneurs who followed their passions and do what they love everyday. That inspired me to found Mountbase, and share their stories.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
You have to back yourself, and be confident. Until you’re confident in yourself and what you do, other people won’t believe it. Invest time in researching and learning to become more confident.
What problem does your business solve?
We give access to the brightest minds behind entrepreneurship and business.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
We wanted everyone to have access to success stories of inspirational people. We wanted it to be easy to access and take advantage of modern tech. Mountbase combines storytelling and tech to give people inspiration on demand.
What is your magic sauce?
We own the whole creative process, so we can ensure our projects have the Mountbase flair they deserve.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We are launching globally, and want to expand our reach internationally . We want to expand into the US followed by Australia and other English speaking countries.
We will then develop our product into other languages and feature inspirational stories from multiple different languages and cultures.
Finally, we will look to set up an international studio, to take Mountbase to the next level.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
There have been multiple challenges from raising funding, growing a team and launching our product. However, the initial year of building something and doing something that has never been done was one of our toughest challenges.
