Tell us about yourself?
I started my business when the financial crisis hit Europe in 2009. However, my motivation was some cool friends I had who were already working remotely back in the days, providing translations for books and websites. They were living a nice life traveling and working at the same time.
They were the first Digital Nomads I met, and I instantly got hooked on the idea. So I started learning to code online. I was coming from a totally different niche, and Web was not part of my expertise.
It took me some time to master the various technologies and become confident. Then when the time came, I moved to Edinburgh to dive into the industry and upgrade my professionalism.
I worked with various companies/startups and started creating a solid online presence at the same time, firstly by refreshing Solomon Designs’ website.
This worked like a charm! The new website convinced that we are a trustworthy brand to work with. Since then, things got always been better.
The long efforts produced results, and I started working with bigger clients and startups, the latter I enjoy so much since they are usually the most excited with what they are doing, like myself.
My portfolio is extensive and worldwide. I specialize in startups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. My customers range from the UK, USA, The Netherlands, Australia, Canada, and Greece. My goal is to achieve the highest quality on all my projects to make my client (and me) happy.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Don’t work on Projects that do not have a viable lifespan. There are cases where there are clients that are not willing to do what it takes to make their Project successful.
At this point, you need to make them understand what it takes for success. If they don’t understand, then I should have gone some time ago. Last few years, I have been more selective about the jobs I take.

What is the inspiration behind your business?
My inspiration was the freedom of the Web. This was a personal choice since I come from a scientific background dealing with Physics and Nanotechnology. So basically, I solved my own problem 🙂
What is your magic sauce?
Solomon Designs focused from the start on unique Design. Everybody can launch another WordPress Website, but we make it stand out from the competition.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
The vision is to establish a Network of like-minded Tech people brainstorming for the future. This will become a coaching/ cooperation scheme. More details to come 🙂
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge I faced was when I decided to drop Physics and become a Web Developer.
It was back in 2009; Europe was in deep crisis, Greece was going down, and there was no light in the tunnel, I had to light the lamp, so I decided to move forward.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
Our target audience is Small to Medium Enterprises (SME). We offer a holistic approach to Web Design/Web Development/SEO business by providing real-life consultancy Services. Under our supervision, things move forward in a clear and trustworthy manner.
