Samee is a Director in the London office of Edgar, Dunn and Company, a global management consulting firm. Samee has worked with some of the world’s largest organisations in North America, Europe, Middle East and East Asia working at the Board level. Samee leads the firm’s Advanced Payments consulting practice and has advised banks, payment companies, mobile operators, internet innovators, eCommerce and eWallet providers on competitive and operational strategy. He previously worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York and Visa International in London. He is a regular speaker at key industry events and has co-authored a book “Developing and Managing a Successful Payment Cards Business” published by Gower Publications.

Peter Sidenius

Peter Sidenius is the Managing Director of Edgar, Dunn & Company. He has over 25 years of experience in strategic consulting in payments. He joined the firm as a Director in 1999. Peter leads the firm’s regulatory practice which works with banks and financial institutions as well as central banks providing pragmatic advice on payments regulation across multiple regions. He has wide geographic experience of providing strategic payment consulting across European, North American, Middle Eastern, Asian and African markets. His expertise extends to advice on future payment business and economic models, competitive analysis, business performance reviews, benchmarking, and customer and product profitability measurement using a wide array of strategic analysis tools. He has worked in a wide range of markets, leading strategic consultancy assignments within the physical and emerging product sphere of financial services, providing advice on payment systems strategy, regulation, profitability analysis, operational reviews and benchmarking studies for industry leading clients. His clients include national and central banks, international payment schemes, financial services organisations, payment processors, fintech companies and national financial services associations. Peter holds a Masters of Science from Denmark’s Technical University and a Masters of Philosophy in Management Studies from Oxford University. Prior to attending Oxford University he spent five years with Schlumberger Oilfield Services in a number of African countries.

Marco Kapp
Founder & Director of Citicus
Marco Kapp’s 40+ years of experience of IT includes developing and running major systems and providing advice and assistance to leading IT users and suppliers around the world. As a Director of Coopers & Lybrand’s UK consulting practice, he led a major study into the security of network system which was supported by the European Commission and over 50 other organizations throughout Europe, and was instrumental in establishing the European Security Forum (ESF) as a successor organization – which itself went on to become the Information Security Forum (ISF). He directed the ESF during its first year of operation. He subsequently directed, managed or contributed to numerous ESF and ISF projects, including: development of the 1996 and 1998 Information Security Status Surveys evolution of the ISF’s Standard of Good Practice for Information Security statistical analysis of results of the Survey, culminating in the key factor / benchmarking process employed in recent Surveys numerous publications on the results of the Survey (eg Driving information risk out of the business, information risk reference guide) development of FIRM – a rigorous, research-based and easy to apply methodology for managing information risk and similar areas of risk across an enterprise contributing to the ISF’s fast-track-project on e-commerce. Marco was the chief architect of the FIRM methodology and is a founder and Director of Citicus Limited. He was a member of the Group of Experts on information security charged by the highly influential OECD with developing Guidelines for the Security of Information Systems. When published, these stimulated and shaped the development of security legislation around the world. He also contributed to the development of the widely used COBIT 4 framework for managing information security enterprise-wide, published by the IT Governance Institute® (ITGI) in 1998.

Simon Oxley
Founder & Managing Director of Citicus
Simon Oxley moved into the IT industry after obtaining a science Doctorate at Oxford University. He gained a background in systems development and has now been working in the information security and risk fields for over 30 years. Having helped Logica establish one of the first two computer security evaluation facilities for the UK government, he had a career in commercial security management through heading up the information security departments at National Power and Reuters. He took both organizations into the Information Security Forum (ISF) and was a member of the ISF’s Council during 1992-94. As an independent consultant in information security from 1996 to 2000, Simon advised a range of blue chip clients and contributed to many projects for the highly-respected ISF. He was the author of the ISF’s research reports on secure e-commerce, cryptography, web security, security architecture and active content, and contributed to many others, including the project that led to the FIRM methodology supported by Citicus ONE. Simon is a regular speaker at international conferences on information security and risk. He has a strong interested in education, helping the British Computer Society to develop their information security qualifications and being a regular lecturer at the UK’s Royal Holloway Information Security MSc course. Simon is a founder and Managing Director of Citicus.
