IoT software data and digital networks expert, electronic engineer, serial enterpreneur, inventor, with 15+ years experience in HoReCa, F&B industry, coffee business.Listed in 101 London’s most impressive and successful founders in Big Data space.
Author of one patent and two patent pendings, actively worked as intellectual property and patent implementation advisor in fields of electronics and software business solutions.
Recived a numerous honors during inventors and enterpreneur career.Most valuable are International invention of the year award by British Inventors Society, INPEX, the largest US Invention show, Invention award in food & beverage and Croatian chamber of economy Zagreb “Zlatna Kuna” invention award.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
although very persistent in some moments, I should have been more patient. When you are completely committed to what you are doing, sometimes the results are not immediate, but the results always appear
What problem does your business solve?
Coffee Cloud is a full stuck IoT data analytics solution for professional coffee industry.We provide relevant and useful data to coffee machine users.We help our users to understand how their coffee machines are being used. Our customers/users are coffee shops,restaurants, coffee producers,machine producers.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
I was running my own coffee shop.Permenently I was working in one shift where I find the difference between sellings in my shift instead my colegue shift. I found out there is missing data about finall coffee pouring and production, machine interruptions, cleaning…etc.This data is relevant to prepare a perfect cup of coffee and increase sellings/profit.
What is your magic sauce?
I have the ability to see things in advance, I am an innovator by nature, I analyze everything from a technical point of view
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
our vision is to become a leader in IoT in the HoReCa and retail industry. With the knowledge gathered through the development of the Innovative Coffee Cloud solution, we plan to expand to the beer and juice serving industry
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
I have personally witnessed the traditional coffee industry where most data is still collected and processed with pen and paper.
The biggest problem is in the conservative industry itself where innovation is generally slow to be adopted. With persistent work and concrete innovative solutions, with a simple approach to using the application, things are slowly changing
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
we reach users through the network in the coffee industry, events, conferences. Users also contact us through the channels of coffee producers and coffee machines. We are interested in cooperation with experts in the professional coffee industry
