I’m an entrepeneur and marketing enthuasiast with a background in the arts. I founded Our Culture, one of the leading arts and culture websites in the world and currently run Talks Media Group.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Keep at it, don’t be worried about making mistakes.
What problem does your business solve?
We help business become visible in the digital space.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
So many things, Talks became a marketing company because of everything I’ve done before and I’m doing now. I think the inspiration has been all around from art to music — I take it all in and make something of it.
What is your magic sauce?
We think about why first. We truly believe everything we do has a purpose and we like to track with with analytics to make sure what we do is working.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Expand into Europe & US. Have 10+ outlets plus a well established brand name as a marketing agency across the UK.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Balance, getting it right has been difficult. It’s the biggest challenge so far and will probably remain so for the next decade.
