Tell us about yourself?
I am a 22 year old from Botswana. I grew up in Botswana. I have always had a drive to be a producer. I have never been comfortable being a consumer growing up.
I grew up upper middle class however I never liked to buy things because I did not like being a consumer. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a producer and supplier.
So I sat down and started thinking what direction will Africa and the world be heading in and I started coming up with solutions for the coming problems.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
I would tell myself. Take all your goals you have right now and multiply them by a factor of 10 and aim at that.
What problem does your business solve?
Our Vision is to have a cultural change in the production Industry. We want to accelerate the growth of green technology usage globally. To inspire young people to live and think in the future, in order for them to have the mindset of long term thinking.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
In the next decade, when people think of GreyTechno, we want them to think we are known for thought leadership in green technology and inspiring innovative minds. We want GreyTechno to be known for quality across all industries.
In achieving this vision, GreyTechno Industries wants to play a role in stimulating a technological revolution in all industry by offering products and services that will enable us to leap frog old technology and utilize environmentally friendly practices.
What is your magic sauce?
We are run by ideas of young people. We are not a business but a friend in innovation. Every year we take all our goals and we multiply them by a factor of 10 and aim at that. In adopting that type of mindset we plan to be in business for a very long time.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We love to encourage people to think Bold and have a passion for invention, as we believe this is an important mindset in todays world and tomorrows world.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Our biggest challenge was making our first sale. It is hard providing high level solution when you are new to the market. Our other challenge was expanding to other countries early in the businesses life.
Quite unorthodox but if we view the world as our market instead of countries then our limit is limitless.
