Tell us about yourself?

Saikala Sultanova as VP of Growth at DREST. 11 years of mobile marketing experience in the gaming industry.

Her career to date spans senior UA and growth positions at some of the biggest and most successful companies in gaming, including Ubisoft Mobile, Product Madness and Space Ape Games to name a few.

Adept at devising creative ways to support business growth across the complete marketing mix with a speciality in ROI driven performance marketing, Saikala is perfectly positioned to scale DREST and confirm the company’s pioneering position in the luxury fashion, lifestyle and entertainment space.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Prioritise my work-life balance and spend more time on creative innovation and measurement.

What problem does your business solve?

Mobile app Growth Marketing education and sharing knowledge

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Google’s GDE program that is only available for Tech and not Growth Marketing.
A few years back I was a part of the GDE program as one of the community members and volunteers. It was amazing to see how an environment that is built for learning and education can act as a catalyst for new and ingenious ideas that are quickly put to practise. People are encouraged to share and learn from each other.

Growth Marketing in mobile apps and games wanted to create a conference we like for ourselves with the content we want to see. We have joined together as a community and created this ORG. It is now 7 years running.

What is your magic sauce?

Community and mobile app environment.
Community from all over the world connecting through mobile messaging apps to discuss problems and discoveries.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Continue growing this event and encourage participants to travel to London in person. Physical events are a lot more engaging.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Running our annual event online. It is just not anywhere close to meeting in person.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We would like to bring more talented minds to our Slack Group community and Annual event in London on 6 October 2022. Tickets are free of charge, but they are limited edition so committee allocate tickets to developing/publishing company employees with great minds.
