In Nature Teas, founded in 2005, Is the best place to buy loose leaf tea online. All our teas are, hand-picked, and sustainably sourced from local farmers.

We offer one of the largest and exclusive selections of Organic teas in the UK with many health
boosting properties, including slim, detox, and immune boosting teas.

We offer some of the freshest Green Tea and Natural Oolong Teas on the market, which are known for their weight loss properties. We also offer a range of Jasmine Tea, Jasmine Blossom, Puer-h Tea, Black Tea, White Teas and an extensive range of other organic teas.

We are of the main providers of High-Grade leaves, with commitment and utmost respect to the principles of the Art of Tea. One 2000 years, legacy that we are very proud to be a small part of.

Tell us about yourself?

In Chinese Culture, there is very little about me and everything to do with us. The Tea Culture follows this tradition, where sharing is by far the most important element of the experience.

From the farmers, the people who source the teas , the Tea Master, our customers, we all feel as part of the one. The true star of the tea experience is Mother Nature, to whom we are completely dedicated to.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

In Chinese Culture, there is a saying, “all that follows the word IF has truly very little meaning if any. “

What problem does your business solve?

On this solitary, online tech-oriented universe, Teas are one of the best ways to connect to Nature and with yourself.

Is a simple way to share a few moments with family and friends, It is great to boost your health and preventing common illnesses.

Nowadays, people are passionate about fair trade and sustainability. They want to be confident that whatever purchase they make in a busy world is going to be the right choice.

As well as being plastic free, organic, vegan and sustainably sourced, our customers can be sure they are supporting Independent farmers as well as purchasing from a brand that is eco-conscious.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Our inspiration comes from Nature, which gives so much and asks nothing in return.

We are also inspired by the Tea Culture, which teaches us to share Nature, with family and friends, and to celebrate these gifts that can be found every season.

Teas are a symbol of the unity, between Man and Nature, that is united in every tea cup.

We believe, that Teas are a true healing and uniting element, that everyone should experience, in all levels. A moment of peace, that can be experienced by everyone, everywhere that makes feel like part of Nature,

Since we started out in 2005, we wanted to commit to a long-term, genuine and fair relationship with all the farmers we now source our teas from, and we now consider these people friends and have established solid relationships with them.

We are also passionate about raising the profile of some of the lesser known traditional Chinese teas such as Oolong and bringing them to a mainstream audience in the U.K.

What is your magic sauce?

Our magic sauce is our complete commitment, and utmost respect to Nature and The Tea Culture.

Only 4% of Britons consume loose leaf tea. A whopping 96% consume tea from a teabag so we are in a minority but we are proud none the less to be staying plastic free!

Our mantra has always been “nothing added, nothing taken away” so when you savour one of our teas, you can rest assured that you are tasting only the freshest, natural leaves with no additives.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We hope to expand our audience in the UK,Europe and beyond. Its also important for us not just to sell tea but also educate and inform new customers on the different health benefits/properties of each tea.

There is so much to learn about tea, it is a religion in China! We also hope to work with events in the holistic/wellness space and stock our teas in cafes and health stores throughout the U.K.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Over 90% of Britons consume black tea, it is the nation’s favourite tea and we are creatures of habit after all. It can be very hard to convince potential customers to try a flavour like Jasmine or Tangerine when their tea of choice has been a rich black all their life.

I think there is also a reluctance to try loose leaf tea as people think loose leaf is more time consuming to brew, when in fact it can be brewed in no time at all!

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We are hoping to find businesses within the hospitality sector and retail stores that may be interested in stocking or serving our teas to their customers.

If anyone reading this would like to set up an initial chat or have a look at our pricelist we can be contacted at [email protected] or [email protected].

We are also open to speaking to businesses in Ireland and Europe as we facilitate International Delivery.
