Tell us about yourself?
I had spent a decade working in Public Relations and needed a change. I stumbled into recruitment via a friend and I have never looked back since.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Just enjoy it. You are good at what you do so have faith in yourself!
What problem does your business solve?
Simply put we help organisations find amazing talent and build awesome teams
What is the inspiration behind your business?
I had an interview several years ago and in the interview I was told all the problems they had with recruitment.
I sat listening to them and thought, they are not alone with these issues and I can solve them!
What is your magic sauce?
Just tell it how it is. Straight talking can sometimes be tough or even uncomfortable, but it builds trust and respect.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
I don’t think about it too much. Yes I have a business plan and yes I want to drive the business forward.
But…it takes as long as it takes. Just keep building and keep pushing forward…business growth is never smooth.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
I think opening a new office in Brighton during covid was a challenge.
The first UK lockdown had barely ended, a lot of business’ were unsure what the future would look like and yet we seemed to be making a huge leap into the unknown.
It paid off, but it was a really difficult few months as things gained traction.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
I mean we just want to work with any organisation that is keen to build awesome teams of people. If that is your goal, then we are probably the agency you want to partner with.
