Tell us about yourself?
I’m an entrepreneur focussed on the retail, real estate and technology sectors. I started PostSnap when I identified a growing trend for printing personalised photo products and could not find an existing brand offering the high quality I wanted and an easy online ordering process.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Don’t be afraid to take on much larger brands if you believe in your products and service.
What problem does your business solve?
We make printing photos direct from a phone easy, convenient and fast.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Our customers are our inspiration. Our customers are typically mums looking to capture daily family memories and keep them alive for the future. Each day we work to make the taking of printing photos easier and more convenient.
What is your magic sauce?
Our focus on customer service, product innovation and investment in our mobile focussed website is our key to success. Whereas many retailers have focussed upon app development and prioritisation we have invested in making our website as good if not better then a native app experience.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Our plan is to continue innovating and to continue focussing upon product development – we will be launching new photo books, frames photo prints and photo gifts in 2022 and beyond.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Financing the business. Our business has been self financed by the founders to date, has no external debt and is cash flow positive. The next stage in our development requires significant marketing spend will require additional finance and this will be our main challenge over the next 3 years.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
We want to reach out to investors to help us take this fantastic business to the next stage in its journey.
