Tell us about yourself?
I have experience in a variety of industries, but my focus has been on technology for most of my professional life. It has always been my goal to bring a digital platform to the masses that people want and need and that can add value to their lives.
I came up with enjoystevie after locking myself in a room with my countdown clock for a few hours putting myself under pressure whilst racking my brains.
The simplest idea was to take a look at where people spend their money and see if a third-party platform can provide them with the same items/services at a lower price.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
There is not much I would change over the last 2 years. Master your trade, work aggressively and do not get distracted from small things.
What problem does your business solve?
Makes it easier for people to save money on the things they enjoy or need.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
It was my own inspiration to create a leading digital product people use every day. Across a variety of products and services, we’re working to make things a little bit cheaper to ease the pain of rising prices, an issue that many people face today.
What is your magic sauce?
It’s our job to outwork everyone. Aggressively attacking the market. We aim to offer our customers as many exclusive discounts as possible from the brands people love.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We would like to release enjoystevie in a handful of eurpoean countries, whilst being market leader in the UK and Ireland. We would also like to achieve an exit over the next 4 years.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge we’ve faced so far was Covid. In the early days, we started out as a platform for restaurants; however, with everything closing down for a long duration, we faced many challenges that caused us to change our business model.
Otherwise, we weren’t sure if restaurants had the margins to offer discounts. With our hard work, we created a platform that can accommodate most business types, products and services so there was something for everyone.
