February 14, 2022

With a mix of B2B and B2C clients, ranging from successful entrepreneurs, entertainment industry clientele to start-ups, who inspire and always push the boundaries in their fields.

We love innovation at Ucreate and we are passionate about new ideas and creativity!

We are a small close-knit team that is expanding fairly rapidly. Although, we are a leading team of experienced individuals whom strategically plan and build communication and branding, always putting our clients first.

We have a great attitude and understanding towards a new leading business generation.

As a reputable agency ourselves with an established network, we work with a diverse client portfolio, we help to enhance and develop brands by making sure that our PR clients stay relevant and appealing to their publics.

We also have connections over seas, enabling our client’s better interaction and exposure Internationally.

What is your background? What made you get into this line of work?

My background relating specifically to the work I do now is radio. I have 5 years radio presenting and producing experience. As I was often conducting interviews with famous people and hosting events as an extended part of my role, it gave me a taste of the world of entertainment and inspired me to set up my own business within entertainment.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

What problem does your business solve?

My business is a multi-services business offering a cost effective alternative to businesses offering similar services in larger cities like Manchester and London. Our clients get a broad choice of service offerings when they choose to do business with Ucreate.

What is the inspiration behind your business? *

The inspiration behind my business is me having the passion for showbiz and entertainment. I wanted to be able to encompass entertainment, events and high-profile people all in one place.

As I have now tailored travel into the mix, I am able to broaden my concept for the business even further.

The problem that I am trying to solve for my clients is that they don’t need to have multiple businesses handling their needs when it comes to PR, Marketing, Event Management and Travel. We handle it all.

This is a massive appeal to existing and new clients particularly in the North of the UK. We are a one stop shop. PR clients vary from entertainers in the form of talent. I.e. models, music artists, sportsmen etc to corporate and clients like organisations seeking event management for small to medium sized events.

What is your magic sauce? *

We differ from competitors (certainly in our demographic), for the fact that we offer things that they do not and that our target audience is specific to entertainment. All of our services are sought after services and this is where the competition lies but, competitors aren’t competitors if you know your niche!

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

My plan for the next 5 years is to expand the brand to different locations and to keep on innovating. I want to have a group as oppose to a limited company. A bit like Virgin. They started off small and look at the heights Richard Branson has taken it too. We think alike!

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

My biggest challenge to date is running a business during a pandemic. Being that we were just 5 years old when it hit in 2020 and still in growth phase, merging into the next 5 years which I anticipated would be glorious. Unfortunately, we had to take the lows with the highs.

We managed to pivot the business, move face 2 face events to hybrid events successfully, gain new clients globally, attract new business collaborations in Europe and expand our team. I also became a qualified Independent Travel Agent and we were also finalists in a corporate award in 2021 with a large global brand called M&IT (Meetings, Incentives & Travel).

The category we were in was ‘Best Team of The Year’ for pivoting the business during the Covid pandemic. However, towards post pandemic, we lost a few clients and staff and have taken some profit losses but we had an experience that will be a benchmark for us to make sure we know how to approach and maintain change when necessary.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We want Amazon sellers to start collaborating with us. You can join our discord server here… We want a diverse range of mainstream talent to keep working with us. Individuals that are looking for cost effective, competitive prices but reap the rewards of getting high quality and value services across the board. We want to develop our portfolio so that it is appealing to larger corporate companies like Virgin, Fashion Week, MTV and Netflix (for example) that want to give smaller businesses like Ucreate opportunities to collaborate with them.
