Bill Buckie combines a background in life sciences research with a wealth of financial expertise. During 2004-2006 he served as a part-time finance director for several SMEs, including IceRobotics Ltd, where he is currently a director. From 2001 to 2004 he was CFO at Photonic Materials. Prior to that he was Vice-President of Finance at Pharmagene plc where he was a key member of the IPO team, listing Pharmagene on the LSE in July 2000. Bill trained with Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) in Cambridge and completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge in 1986.
