Tell us about yourself?
I started working with Microsoft technologies in my first job after university and provided consulting services to organisations for many years. I was asked to join the ProvisionPoint business as one of the founds.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Spend more time on the hiring process, especially finding candidates who are well suited to remote working.
What problem does your business solve?
How organisations get the most of apps like SharePoint and Teams without introducing compliance risks.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Me and the cofounder of the business had implemented similar solutions for several customers and we could see the need.
We also anticipated the growth of the Microsoft cloud and the associated challenges for organisations about how it would be managed.
What is your magic sauce?
Our level of service. Unlike many SaaS companies, we want to create a personal connection with our customers and partners.
We guide them through the process of how to configure the app and how to drive maximum value.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Grow the customer base, especially outside of our core territories and expand our staff potentially, outside of the UK.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Recruitment, especially during a pandemic. Interviewing potential candidates over Zoom and not being sure if they will be a good fit.
