Tell us about yourself?
I have been living in London since the 90s and I think it’s a really cool place to live so I thought to start a business of sending little bits of London around the world.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
I would say “Keep Calm and Carry On!” in true British style!
What problem does your business solve?
We supply gifts and souvenirs to destinations all over the world
What is the inspiration behind your business?
When I was younger I had a lot of penpals around the world and we used to enjoy exchanging gifts. I still feel a sense of joy knowing that people all over the globe receive our packages.
What is your magic sauce?
I put my heart into my business and I love what I do. The best business idea is to make a living out of something you enjoy.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
I would love to expand my business and offer more choice to my customers. I would like to offer more souvenirs from other parts of the United Kingdom.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge was definitely making ends meet throughout the pandemic but hopefully everyone can start looking forward now and people are travelling once again.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
I would love to reach out to British expats abroad so that they can always enjoy a little something from back home no matter how far way they are.
